Venue and Location
The conference will take place in the old town of Šibenik. Venues are the Pub-lic library “Juraj Šižgorić” and the Interpretation Centre of the Cathedral of St. James ‘’Civitas Sacra’’. Both venues have special rooms for oral presentations, while the poster session and the sponsors’ exhibitions will take place only in the library.

Transportation
Air traffic is based at Split Airport (50 km away from Šibenik) and Zadar Airport (70 km away from Šibenik). Šibenik can be reached from those airports in one hour by bus, car or taxi.
In May, the airports have excellent connections and offer direct flights from many cit-ies. A transfer from Split and Zadar airports will be organised for participants on the day of arrival/departure.

The participants have to arrange payment for the transport directly with Avalon Yachting. Please mention that you are participant of the 36th Topical Meeting of the International Society of Electrochemistry.
Šibenik is well connected by bus to other parts of Croatia as well as to surrounding countries and Central Europe. The main bus station is just a few minutes walk from the city center. Due to its location on the central Adriatic coast, arriving by car is also a good option, especially if you want to explore the surrounding area.

Climate
The Šibenik region is characterised by a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and dry, mild winters. The average daytime temperature in Šibenik in May is 23°C. For those who want to combine the conference with a trip to the Adriatic coast at the end of May, seawater temperatures in the region are usually between 18 and 20°C.
